Brent oil price gains over 2% to $27.8 on Wednesday morning
MOSCOW, Mar 25 (PRIME) -- The Brent oil price gained 2.63% to U.S. $27.76 per barrel as of 8.56 a.m. Moscow time on Wednesday, as seen by PRIME in the data of the ICE exchange.
The WTI blend grew by 3.04% to $24.74 as of 8.56 a.m., according to the New York Mercantile Exchange.
The oil prices rise for a third trading session in a row due to the general optimism and hopes that the U.S. government would approve measures to help its economy very soon. The American Petroleum Institute also supports the market showing that the U.S. oil reserves fell by 1.2 million barrels in the previous week.
